Belief in astrology

Astrology has been unregulated area since ancient time. It has not been organized specially the observation, analysis and calculation in relation to life, events and problems in life.

Is astrology has some history?

Astrology as known in India as Jyotisha is as old as Veda. In fact, Jyotisha is part of Vedanga, part of Veda. Jyotisha includes part of rites, rituals, practices, spirituality, health remedies based upon human life and its relationships with planets, signs and time and date in a year. It is a part of culture of every great civilization in the world. Many elements of culture take thousands of years to develop and evolve as an independent science. That is how even astrology underwent many permutations and combinations in the history.

Astrology is intuitive and calculative

Astrology is generally based upon calculation, inference and experience. Calculation is done on the basis of positions of planets, signs and time and date of the year. Inference is derived by calculation and understanding the personality of a person and experience helps in correct analysis of predictions to be made. The most important aspect is intuitive which links astrology with spiritual consciousness. It becomes difficult for average person to understand an astrologer making predictions which is guided by spiritual consciousness and supported by calculation, inference and experience. There is another important aspect of astrology which had been referred in Tantra texts. This aspect is very difficult to perfect and maintain i.e. awakening certain mental powers which offers powers of clairaudience, clairvoyance and though reading, medium ship all together.
